Sprinkler Blow Outs

Don’t Let The Cold Destroy Your System!

When? Late September to Early November. To be safe, aim to winterize your system by mid-October, as weather conditions can change rapidly.

Winterizing your sprinkler system is crucial maintenance to avoid costly repairs in the spring. Our service includes shutting off your water (if not already done), connecting to your blowout connection, and using compressed air to clear all water from the system. We use large, tow-behind compressors at an average of 40 psi, providing sufficient volume without high pressure. After blowing out and draining the system, we also shut off your timer.

Our winterization service is guaranteed as long as your shut-off valve completely seals the water. If the shut-off fails, which is rare but possible, it can allow a small amount of water back into the system, leading to costly repairs in the spring.

Call us at (509) 701-2598 to schedule your winterization service and protect your system from winter damage.

Backflow Testing

When? Generally any time as long as your sprinkler system has been activated or can be activated by our technicians. You may have a time frame from your local water department to get this done.

Understanding backflow prevention is crucial to recognizing the importance of backflow testing. Backflow refers to the undesirable reversal of water flow from a private system into a public or community potable water supply. Annual testing of your backflow prevention assembly ensures that hazardous chemicals and physical contaminants do not infiltrate the public drinking water.

All water districts mandate yearly backflow testing. Contact us today to schedule your annual backflow test!
